In his acceptance speech before the RNC last Thursday, Mitt Romney quoted Barack Obama’s 2008 promise that his election would “slow the rise of the oceans” —at which point he paused a full twelve seconds before finishing the quotation. This was a brilliant rhetorical gesture: to let the absurdity of such unmerited self-regard sink into the audience’s mind anew. Romney was asking us to consider choosing a man of deeds over a man of words. That’s what I’m doing.
Hippies, don’t let your intellectual pride compel you to make the same mistake twice. But if you don’t have the integrity to admit you were wrong the first time, you could at least have the decency to not vote this time.

Say, did Obamajesus ever get around to explaining why an invocation of executive privilege based “on principle” had to wait til the final hours before a contempt vote was taken against his attorney general to be made? That is to ask, if you genuinely believe that you have a right to cover up the serious lies your Justice Department told the Congress, why was the claim invoked so tardily? It should have been asserted ab initio —instead of looking like the deed of last resort that it actually is. Pathetic. What are these liars hiding?
I’ll bet we find out sooner than expected. Not as soon as the final confirmation on all those rumors of Harry Reid’s pederasty, but soon enough.

I’m watching FNC’s John Roberts (right!) interview DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz and she refuses to acknowledge anything. Won’t acknowledge that Bill Burton’s Super PAC is associated with the Democratic Party. Won’t acknowledge that the ad that Priorities USA Action is running is based on multiple lies and is plainly unethical horseshit. Won’t condemn the miserable Harry Reid’s slanders based on an anonymous source that Romney hasn’t paid his taxes. Won’t answer a question honestly or directly because she is the mouthpiece of an anti-American regime and party that live by lying.
If you don’t believe in American exceptionalism, then you aren’t going to know how to make this society prosperous again. Instead, you’ll do what Obamajesus does, which is lie and divide. Lots of loose talk about what’s “fair” and who’s getting a “chance” in a world where “you didn’t build” anything. But this is the rhetoric of reparationism, which that communist mentor of his in Honolulu probably put in his smoke-addled brain. What will make such a man and his acolytes accountable? Somehow, the President’s idolators must not only be made to eat shit, but be seen to be made to eat shit. It’s the only way they’ll learn: when they are crushed in service of failure and condemned to remember it.

Barack Hussein Obama is in town today hitting up the local Democratic ATMs for the money he needs to keep his regime alive. It’s weird that a wealthy American, to the extent that a Democrat fits that description, would reward this Lying Marxist Bastard for the great harm he’s done to my country, but we are stuck with a system where party is favored over patriotism, just as General Washington warned. These rich degenerates are investing in their party as a means to obtaining personal power. But, in Obama’s case, this is even more particularly an emotional and moral issue. These effete starfuckers (and the lesser fluffers who infest my town) see their support of the President as a validation of their self-regard as open-minded and post-racial. But they are as intolerant and bigoted as any conservative or Republican or Christian they hate on. They may have the kinds of intelligence that great success in business requires, but they have no self-awareness for the racist and classist premises they act on. They believe of themselves what the media and academic and social elites have always told them they are: progressive, right, and just.
In 2008, I told anyone who would listen that there was no way that my country would be so stupid as to elect such a lying Marxist bastard President. But I was grievously wrong; we are that stupid. And we have paid a great penalty for it. I have little confidence that there are enough Americans left among the electorate to make the right decision this time. Incumbency in the hands of men and women without conscience is very hard to dislodge. But if we are true to ourselves and to the Last Great Hope of Earth, we must make some kind of effort at defeating this regime. Our country’s life depends on it.

If you want a preview of the Left’s anti-Mormon bigotry from the upcoming general election season, be sure to read the execrable Frank Rich’s ad hominem attack on Mitt Romney in New York magazine:
The questions are not theological. Nor are they about polygamy, the scandalous credo that earlier Romneys practiced even after the church banned it in 1890. Rather, the questions are about the Mormon church’s political actions during Mitt Romney’s lifetime—and about what role Romney, as both a leader and major donor, might have played or is still playing in those actions. To ask these questions is not to be a religious bigot but to vet a candidate for the nation’s highest job.
See, the New York Jew only wants to examine Romney’s Mormon faith as much, I’m sure, as he wanted to take apart Barack Obama’s adherence to the black liberation theology of the Trinity United Church of Christ. Why should there be a religious test for Romney when there was none of any consequence for Obama? If the Evangelicals can make their peace with a Mormon, as they appear to be in growing numbers, then we can either enjoy this new age of Christian ecumenism —or revisit the explicit racism, socialism, and anti-Americanism of Obama’s Trinity UCC right along with the racism, sexism, and other sins of the LDS.

Inevitably, the Obamatons are taking their anti-Mormonism for a test drive to see how much they can get away with as the Election of 2012 draws near. But if they want to question and malign Mitt Romney’s faith, then they need to understand that Obama will be made to answer for the racism of black liberation theology. Not to answer just for Jeremiah Wright and the UCC, but the whole denomination. Sounds fair, right? And more than fair, but completely relevant. Because as our country implodes under the weight of mathematically unsustainable entitlements, collapsing home values, long-term un- and underemployment, rising fuel prices, and a thousand other huge problems what matters most is whether the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a real Christian church and to what extent Mitt Romney is in its clutches.

This is how the Obamareich’s re-election machine is being characterized —and I have no reason to doubt it. Do his followers have a problem with their idol burning through a billion dollars of crony contributions? I don’t hear much about it, if so. I think such a figure would only be morally repugnant if it were a Republican campaign.
I think the Election of 2012 is going to burn some bridges.
