Absolute Horseshit

Friday, October 3rd, 2008

Among the many bizarre and inexplicable things Joe Biden said in last night’s debate, I nominate his brief history of modern Lebanon as the shiningest example:

When we kicked — along with France, we kicked Hezbollah out of Lebanon, I said and Barack said, “Move NATO forces in there. Fill the vacuum, because if you don’t know — if you don’t, Hezbollah will control it.”

Now what’s happened? Hezbollah is a legitimate part of the government in the country immediately to the north of Israel.

Has Biden gone mad? I ask this sincerely. Does he have some sort of organic brain disorder that would compel him to make such demonstrably untrue claims? Unbelievable. Read Michael J. Totten’s incredulous response:

What on Earth is he talking about? The United States and France may have kicked Hezbollah out of Lebanon in an alternate universe, but nothing even remotely like that ever happened in this one.

Nobody – nobody – has ever kicked Hezbollah out of Lebanon. Not the United States. Not France. Not Israel. And not the Lebanese. Nobody.

Joe Biden has literally no idea what he’s talking about.

Moreover, I have never once heard anything about Obama calling for NATO intervention in Lebanon. When did such a thing happen? When the Second Lebanon War broke out in the summer of 2006, was Obama really calling for NATO to keep the peace in Lebanon? Call me crazy, but I think that’s utter nonsense.

Needless to say, Big Media is far too busy fellating Obamachrist to question Biden’s hallucinatory account. Equally needless to add, although I must, is that such claims, had they been made by Hillary Clinton or Sarah Palin, would have drawn derisive howls from such miserable fluffers as David Gergen and Anderson Cooper and the other Leftist craphounds at CNN. Did the anti-American reporter Michael Ware manage to raise an eyebrow at the news that we evicted Hizballah from Lebanon? Doubt it.

In a just world, Biden’s remarks would be regarded as even weirder than Gerald Ford’s claim in his 1976 debate with Carter that there was no Soviet domination of Poland.

But this isn’t a just world.

The Vast Oil Reserves of Afghanistan

Since Obama and his surrogates concede that he has no foreign policy experience to run on, they are obligated to say that he has the “right judgement” instead, which is a subjective dodge. But since the legend of this superior judgement is almost always invoked with regard to the War for Iraq, aren’t journalists obligated to ask Obama why he believes a non-decision about a war made almost six years ago constitutes a relevant and timely demonstration of his “right judgement”? He can’t keep going back to that well when his actual decisions about Iraq have subsequently been proven wrong.

Obama may think that he will lead us and the world into a new age of unicorns and rainbows, but he is a dumb bastard to not understand that Presidents inherit real circumstances and accomplished facts. We went into Iraq for more reasons than weapons of mass murder. It’s way past time for him and the godforsaken dolts who support him to acquaint themselves with some of those causes.

Press Release to God

Tuesday, July 29th, 2008

Is it really possible that Barack Hussein Obama authorized the dissemination of the handwritten prayer he stuck in a crack in the Western Wall in Jerusalem last week? When I first heard that the note had supposedly been plucked out by a bystander and published, I thought it was a pretty contemptible thing to do, regardless of my dislike for the non-Christian phony who stuck it there. But if these new rumors prove true —that Obama actually shared his prayer with reporters upon leaving the King David Hotel— then I will have to revise my list of his most egregious campaign moments thus far.

The reason the rumors ring true is that this is a man who abandoned his church because it had become a political liability for him. Making a press release of his prayer to the Almighty doesn’t sound like much of a stretch at all.

Just Blame the Staff and Turn the Page

David Wright with ABC News was saying earlier that Obama’s policy is to not deal with Hamas because they’re not heads of state, but a terrorist group. Hmm. A very tough line to take, one would think.

But then it is also Obama’s position that, as President, he would meet with the leadership of Iran and Syria and presumably other terrorist-sponsoring states without preconditions?

Does the man who wishes to lead these 57 United States not understand that Hamas is a tool of Iran and that Iran is the actual problem?

The Flittering Thing

Tuesday, December 4th, 2007

The Democrats aren’t buying this crap about the President not knowing until just recently that the NIE on Iran’s nuclear weapons program says that it was stopped in 2003. They believe he must have known about it no later than this past summer.

In an October 17 news conference, Bush said that “If you’re interested in avoiding World War III, it seems like you ought to be interested in preventing them from having the knowledge necessary to make a nuclear weapon.”

And four days later, Vice President Dick Cheney told a Washington think tank that Iran would face “serious consequences” from the international community if it continued to enrich uranium.

You’ll notice that neither man’s remark really has anything at all to do with the NIE’s findings. It is, in fact, our purpose to keep Iran from getting the Bomb and destroying Israel. You can be sure that’s Israel’s purpose. And, bless their hearts, the Israelis’ standard of proof on this particular issue remains somewhat higher than our own. They’re just not as goddamned certain as Joe Biden is, but what are you going to do?

We don’t want World War III. Therefore, we will see to it that there are serious consequences if the Iranians don’t stop enriching uranium for their so-called civilian energy sector. They are doing that, regardless of how high the “confidence” is that they’ve stopped it with respect to weapons.

The President and Mr. Cheney misspoke? Not to this, they didn’t.

At the bottom of these controversies over our intelligence assessments of Iran lies a single fact: none of them matters. Right or wrong, yes or no, the inevitability of conflict with Iran was begun when the nauseating Jimmy Carter allowed them to humiliate us in 1979. That debt has never been paid. It is right that we should plant our foot in Iran —like some colossal Alexander of infidel proportions.

The Dinnerjacket and his fellow revolutionaries will surely live long enough to see their movement come to be reviled and discarded by their own children and grandchildren. Then a fine market will Persia make!

Radiological Silence

Thursday, September 27th, 2007

If you’re thinking about the war to come, be sure to read this very interesting analysis of what’s happening in Syria and Iran right now. Jack Wheeler writes about the Israelis’ air strikes on Syria just a few weeks ago:

Since then, it’s panic-squared in Tehran.  The mullahs are freaking out in fear.  Why?  Because of the silence in Syria. On September 6, Israeli Air Force F-15 and F-16s conducted a devastating attack on targets deep inside Syria near the city of Dayr az-Zawr.  Israel’s military censors have muzzled the Israeli media, enforcing an extraordinary silence about the identity of the targets.  Massive speculation in the world press has followed, such as Brett Stephens’ Osirak II? in yesterday’s (9/18) Wall St. Journal. Stephens and most everyone else have missed the real story.  It is not Israel’s silence that ’speaks volumes’ as he claims, but Syria’s.

Read the whole thing.

Make Him a Witness

Wednesday, September 19th, 2007

That wretched fuck Mahmoud Ahmadinejad wants to visit Ground Zero?

They’ll never permit such an obscenity, of course, but were they so thoughtless, I’d certainly hope that some patriotic American would make him a witness.

Right there where the end of Islam as we know it was begun.

Insh’allah.

Bomb Damascus (Part Three)

Tuesday, September 18th, 2007

It’s almost beyond belief, but there’s a report going around that

Dozens of Syrian military officers and Iranian engineers were killed about two months ago in an a chemical weapons accident, Jane’s Magazine reported Monday, revealing new details on the incident which took place in a secret weapons facility.

According to the report by the British magazine, the explosion occurred early in the morning on July 26, in a factory in the city of Halab, as the officers were attempting to mount a chemical warhead with mustard gas on a Scud-C missile.

A fire which started in the missile’s engine led to an explosion near a storage location of chemical substances. The blast spread lethal chemical agents, including mustard gas, VX gas and sarin nerve gas, which are considered extremely toxic and are banned for use according to international treaties.

If true, it will be necessary in the very near future for Nancy Pelosi’s friend to see his capital reduced to rubble.

It’s over, Assad. Know that, if this report is confirmed, it’s over for you.

Testing Out

Tuesday, September 11th, 2007

There’s a report in the Telegraph about some recent Israeli tourists venturing into Syria:

A US official has confirmed that Israeli warplanes carried out an air strike “deep inside” Syria, escalating tensions between the two countries.

The target of the strike last Thursday remained unclear but Israeli media reported that a shipment of Iranian arms crossing Syria for use by the Iranian-backed Hezbollah militia in Lebanon was attacked.

And these Democratic assholes in the Senate are fretting about what we might do to poor old Iran? But there really isn’t any choice. The Israelis know this, but idiots like Bernie Sanders? He turns his back on necessity.

Further on in the report we read:

Another theory gaining ground yesterday was that Israel was deliberately attacking the Russian-made Pantsyr air defence system recently bought by Damascus. The sale includes provision for the Pantsyr system to be shipped on to Iran and it is possible the Israeli attack was co-ordinated with America to probe the effectiveness of the system. It is believed that Iran would use the Pantsyr system to defend its nuclear facilities.

Sounds good to me. Once again exposing the inferiority of Russian military technology in the Middle East while reminding the floor-kissers in Iran that they’ll get the same when the time is right? Rock on.

The Moon will save the human race—

Were loonies beaten off their path—

The unthrown stone remains in place—

Through orbitary aftermath.

A blast unguarded —global fire—

Here’s thirty pieces, you fucking liars—

Now go and reckon what you did

When you did nothing but blame the Yid.
