Barack Hussein Obama is helpless in the face of his own ego. Which may explain why he has apparently authorized his campaign to release a 40-page point-by-point rebuttal of Jerome Corsi’s best-selling attack on him. I’ve read about half of it so far and the second-biggest mistake they make —after their foolish acknowledgement of Corsi’s work in such a fussy and conspicuous manner in the first place— is the ridiculous assertion that
AYERS AND DOHRN ARE MEMBERS OF THE ESTABLISHMENT WITH TIES TO THE MAYOR
Ha, ha! Really? The “establishment”?! Obama really thinks he can defend his long-term associations with a pair of unrepentant terrorists from the 1960s by insulting them in such a way? Is there any clearer evidence that this unqualified liar has no ear —no real sense— for the moral center of our culture? He is a cultural interloper and an embarrassment of the anti-Americanism of the Democratic Party.
Listen carefully, Barry. Your friends and mentors are anti-American assholes —and you are their lord and savior. Your candidacy is almost hallucinatorily preposterous; a weird outburst of mass stupidity so severe that it mocks all reason. How did you get so far? By lying. By bullying the liberal losers who infest the Democratic Party into totally surrendering their asses to your perilous brand of racist and socialist nonsense in a new package.

Looks like the Joe and Valerie Wilson Show hit another dead end today:
WASHINGTON, Aug 12 (Reuters) - A U.S. appeals court on Tuesday dismissed former CIA analyst Valerie Plame’s lawsuit against Vice President Dick Cheney and several former Bush administration officials for disclosing her identity to the public.
The Court of Appeals in Washington dealt another setback to the former spy, who has said her career was destroyed when officials blew her cover in 2003 to retaliate against her husband, Iraq war critic Joseph Wilson.
But it was Joe and Valerie who destroyed her CIA career by exploiting the opportunity she got him through her employment to try to publicly undermine the President’s case for war against a legitimate enemy. They doubled down on their stupidity with their disloyal liberal crap —and it’s gotten them nothing but the good opinion of people whose judgement isn’t worth the third bar piss of the night. People like the lunatic Larry Johnson and the anti-car tosser Duncan Black.

The usual Leftist ninnies are just mewling about about John Edwards’ anti-climactic confession of adultery this afternoon, but I couldn’t care less about the Hyperambitious Phony’s love life; I’m frankly surprised he would take valuable time away from teasing his do to fornicate. The greatest scandal, after all, is not Silkiness’ human frailty, but the extreme and undeniable pro-Democratic bias of Big Media. I’m talking about the Tiffany Network and the Electric Peacocks and the Grey Lady and the Whore of Babylon (oh, alright —the Los Angeles Times). The major broadcast and cable news organizations and the major wire services that feed them put an unambiguous embargo on the mere discussion of a legitimate news story involving a man who was a Vice Presidential nominee in 2004. These craven manipulators of America’s public opinion took it upon themselves —in a massive group demonstration of antitrust— to purposely ignore what is now proven to be the truth about a major public figure. Had this major public figure been a Republican, there cannot be any question that the whole sordid thing would have been analyzed and hyped beyond all recognition. The New York Times made damned sure to wonder aloud on its front pages just a couple months ago about a flimsy non-story (i.e., a lie) involving John McCain and some female lobbyist, but then suddenly found journalistic integrity and declined to condescend to the level of the National Enquirer when it came to the Breck Girl? What monstrous hypocrisy. What discreditable conduct for the so-called Paper of Record.
Americans should be ashamed that we still permit a small handful of obvious Democratic partisans to control the greater part of the television and print media in this country. It is an indictment of our information-gathering habits —especially in these days of the World Wide Web— that the news isn’t news for most Americans until the man on the TV says so. The wretched Wolf Blitzer is on my TV right now, as a matter of fact, breathlessly unburdening himself about this nonsense when one knows that his network wouldn’t have just waited around for manna from heaven if this mess had been about Cheney or McCain; they would have sought it out like the craphounds they are. CNN wouldn’t have sat back wondering whether they should put their seal on this story —and thereby verify it in the public mind— but that’s what happened here, anyway, isn’t it? They waited until they couldn’t wait any longer. And for one reason: because John Edwards is a Democrat.
Big Media is a meretricious drag on the quality of our political discourse. It is a great joy to me every time I hear that Pinch Sulzberger’s stocks have fallen again or that the LA Times is laying off more and more staff or that nobody’s watching Madame Couric. Real, triumphant joy. I somehow believe —if only for a while— that it may yet be possible to really democratize our political knowledge as Americans and throw the sorry apologists out.
Isn’t it odd how banality can become sinister? Even Barack Hussein Obama’s mottos are verbal adumbrations of the hollowness of his creed.
It isn’t enough for me now to hear apologies from the idiots who perpetrated the nonsense of this man’s nomination; I want more. I want these people to admit that their judgement in choosing our leaders is contemptuous of this great civilization —which prospers despite them.
Here’s to death knells. Here’s to the triumph of common sense —and to the patriotism that doesn’t have to be asserted, but only lived.
I don’t know why he thought it up or if he even actually believes it, but Josh Marshall wrote the other day that McCain’s little campaign ad about Obama as a world celebrity deliberately associates the Chosen One with Paris Hilton and Britney Spears because they are
oversexed and/or promiscuous young white women
See how that works? It wasn’t McCain likening Obama’s inexplicable and unwarranted fame to that of a pair of widely-ridiculed celebrity whores, but McCain suggesting that a virile black ram is daring to tup some white ewes. Shouldn’t Marshall have taken more offense at Obama’s delusions of Hitlerian grandeur than in drawing out some non-existent miscegenation meme? Marshall is obviously a ridiculous bastard who’s reaching for any offense he can take. Who on Earth would make such a connection? Well, I’m from the old ”who smelt it dealt it” school, so I would suggest that Marshall examine his own personal views of race instead of imputing them to others.

And yet, it has come to this: Obama’s people trying to denigrate the war hero’s military service, McCain’s people comparing Obama to a couple of frivolous tarts.
I’m not so sanguine on the deeper meanings of this race, but leave it to the Obama cultists to find racism everywhere but in their own hearts. The ones who think enough about what’s happening to Obama’s support right now are probably right to panic and to cast about for a controversy. But it doesn’t make their bullshit imaginings on the question of racism any more legitimate.
The Speaker of the House announced today:
Americans know that thanks to the two oilmen in the White House, consumers are now paying $4 a gallon for gas. But what Americans should realize is that what the President is calling for is drilling as close as three miles off of America’s pristine beaches and in other protected areas.
The President has failed in his economic policy, and now he wants to say, “but for drilling in protected areas offshore, our economy would be thriving and the price of gas would be lower.” That hoax is unworthy of the serious debate we must have to relieve the pain of consumers at the pump and to promote energy independence.
How are Bush and Cheney responsible for the huge spike in the price of oil across the world? Could it be that the two most populous nations on Earth are seeing huge spikes in their own consumption of oil —and that this, above all else, is what’s driving these prices? It’s nothing but lunatic gibberish to blame these “oilmen” for the astonishing growth of China’s and India’s economies.
Were it not for the completely outmoded restrictions placed on domestic oil production and refining capacity by asshole Democrats, the United States would obviously be in a better position to adapt to the global increase in the price of oil —again clearly driven by the spike in Asia’s consumption.
Our country does not allow new oil refineries or new nuclear power plants to be built because of the anachronistic “concerns” of asshole Democrats. These restrictions weren’t an issue when we were paying a buck a gallon not too many years ago, but now? The lack of foresight on the part of environmentalists and their Gaiist fringe is now costing us all. Our economy is suffering not because we don’t have the resources, but because assholes and Edenists won’t permit their use.
Note that the same sacks of hippie shit who think themselves superior to Christians by virtue of Science are the ones who have no confidence in American drilling and refining technology. How much oil was spilled when Katrina and Rita devastated the Gulf Region? Not even enough to get Obama to Davos and back.
Why are the Democrats handing such a gift to the Republicans? I don’t know. But if Bush is smart, he’ll pull a Truman on these do-nothing liars this summer and make them reconvene the Congress to allow a vote on lifting these stupid restrictions. If there’s some Republicans in trouble who’d rather be back home campaigning, then let them make their case to their constituents from the floors of the House and Senate. They’ve got work to do and they can damned well do it from there.
John Nichols of The Nation pens a paean to Obama Soter on the occasion of the savior’s now-legendary speech before the Seduction of the Bratvolk. It is like a long mash note —full of girlish daydreams and the first suggestions of cocklonging. Enjoy (emphases mine):
The young senator from Illinois needed to establish himself as a credible world leader by going to Iraq and Afghanistan evidencing both his recognition of George Bush’s manifest mistakes and his willingness and ability to wage a functional fight against legitimate terrorist threats. Check!
He needed to establish himself as respected commander-in-chief by not just appearing for photo-opportunities with troops in the field but by connecting with soldiers so that that all Americans who recognize their confidence in the man who seeks the authority to send these young men and women into life-and-death battles. Check!
Mind you, these are just Nichols’ first thoughts on the subject. He goes on and on like this through much more of a very insubstantive and hugely egocentric speech —never once seeming to take notice of the stupidity in his own puerile and uncritical squeezings.
Is it really possible for a grown man —assuming that’s what Nichols is— to believe that the act of travelling to other countries and having your picture taken there “establishes” you as the most powerful man in the world? Seems like nobody thought too much of Bush the Younger declaring “Mission Accomplished” prematurely —but this unqualified liar is somehow made into a leader of men by no more virtue than being seen? What an embarrassing thought to be responsible for!
It is liberal-Left political analyses like Nichols’ that makes absolute nonsense of the truth. He and the people who think like him are nothing but propagandists for a totalitarian-minded demagogue. Where is the intellectual integrity in supporting Barack Hussein Obama when there is another candidate in this race whose patriotism, competence, experience, and recognizable humility are not in doubt?
It isn’t enough to be offended at the obscenity of Barack Hussein Obama’s nomination by the Democratic Party; one must recognize what a danger this man has become and act against it. This utterly vapid speech he gave in Berlin today is a declaration of ego the likes of which I have never seen in an American politician. The only thing that comes close is the narcissism of Huey P. Long. Then again, the Kingfish got things done, whereas this unqualified liar has merely used the system to advance himself personally without actual regard for the welfare of those whom he claims to represent.
We are witnesses to the increasingly deranged fantasy of a cultural interloper and a post-American demagogue. He has abused all decorum and has made a mockery of both JFK and Reagan —and for what? The benefit of footage for his campaign ads? He actually thinks that his Big Media carnival show of a whole week’s duration is a substitute for the hard work of dedication, experience, and real judgement in foreign policy? What an obscenity!
And standing there before a crowd of 200,000 Germans was this miserable crypto-Muslim fraud, condemning his own country before the descendants of mass murderers:
