Just caught the last few minutes of Madame Couric fluffing Obama Soter —and it turns out that the reason he’s going to hold a campaign rally in front of Hitler’s favorite monument to Prussian militarism is to get the krauts “to feel good” about America again. And to say we’re sorry to our “old enemies.” So very, very sorry.

Obama is an abomination. Inshallah, this wankfest he’s been on this past week will be the beginning of the end of his hopes. Surely Americans won’t reward this degree of narcissism.

It’s almost beyond belief, but there’s a report going around that

Dozens of Syrian military officers and Iranian engineers were killed about two months ago in an a chemical weapons accident, Jane’s Magazine reported Monday, revealing new details on the incident which took place in a secret weapons facility.

According to the report by the British magazine, the explosion occurred early in the morning on July 26, in a factory in the city of Halab, as the officers were attempting to mount a chemical warhead with mustard gas on a Scud-C missile.

A fire which started in the missile’s engine led to an explosion near a storage location of chemical substances. The blast spread lethal chemical agents, including mustard gas, VX gas and sarin nerve gas, which are considered extremely toxic and are banned for use according to international treaties.

If true, it will be necessary in the very near future for Nancy Pelosi’s friend to see his capital reduced to rubble.

Looks like the Democrats are trying to get a bill passed by which our Government will compensate residents of Guam who were killed or otherwise victimized by the Imperial Japanese Government during the Second World War.

Wouldn’t the Japanese be the obligors in this case?

Looks like the logic of reparations for aggrieved groups here at home is taking shape.

I’ve seen this Peter Bart Variety piece linked to in a few of my usual haunts, so have at it (emphases mine):

I normally reserve the expression ”a satanic inversion” for another context —in which I attempt to characterize the effects of terminal celibacy on my very fucking soul— but this seems as good an occasion as any to widen its applicability to the likes of John Edwards, and to ask of the Hair-do himself that if you cannot get this answer right —if you cannot discern between our allies and our enemies— then what business have you to be running for the White House? Seriously.

Long before Iran even tests a nuclear device, it will have already, through its proxies in Hizballah and its apparati elsewhere in the region, helped defeat the Cedar Revolution in Lebanon, attacked Israel, and assisted in —if not perpetrated— the murder of American soldiers and innocent civilians throughout the Iraqi theater by means of IEDs, money, and intelligence.

And you believe that Israel’s right to self-defense is the threat?

We spoke to the former Executive Director of the Holocaust Memorial Council, Monroe Freedman, who confirmed a WorldNetDaily report that he had received a note from Jimmy Carter complaining that there were “too many Jews” on the Holocaust Memorial Council. Professor Freedman also said that Carter’s support for the Holocaust Memorial Council was “principally a political gimmick” based on getting political support from Jews.

Professor Freedman, now a law professor at Hofstra University, also confirmed that a respected Holocaust scholar was rejected as a board member by Carter’s office because the scholar’s name “sounded too Jewish” — although he was a Presbyterian Christian.

Thus did the feather fall from Moishe McGillicuddy’s cap.

Jimmy Carter has owned a remark in his latest book in which he clearly advocates the use of terrorism by the Car Swarm People (emphases mine):

“It is imperative that the general Arab community and all significant Palestinian groups make it clear that they will end the suicide bombings and other acts of terrorism when international laws and the ultimate goals of the Roadmap for Peace are accepted by Israel.”

But what’s Carter saying now that he’s been busted?

“I apologize to you personally and to everyone here,” Mr. Carter said when asked about the passage by a student during his appearance at Brandeis University on Tuesday. After explaining that the passage was “worded in a completely improper and stupid way,” Mr. Carter said he has asked publisher Simon & Schuster Inc. to change the wording in future editions of the book.

Where does Carter’s Jew-hatred come from? I say it was from the time he was savagely attacked by that wild rabbi on a fishing trip.

I won’t pay to read Jimmy Carter’s new book, but I am very interested in the reactions to it. From an editorial in the New York Post (emphasis by the editorialist):

January 15, 2007 — Has a former president of the United States - a Nobel Peace Prize winner, no less - given his blessing to wanton murder and terrorist assaults against Israel?

Sure looks that way.

How else to read that astonishing statement on page 213 of Jimmy Carter’s new anti-Israel screed, “Palestine: Peace, Not Apartheid”?

To wit: “It is imperative that the general Arab community and all significant Palestinian groups make it clear that they will end the suicide bombings and other acts of terrorism when international laws and the ultimate goals of the Roadmap for Peace are accepted by Israel.”

Has this been taken out of context, too?

This quote sounds like Carter is associating himself with the methods used by Palestinian terrorists. He seems to be saying that terror is a legitimate political tool for the Car Swarm People.

Okay, but why aren’t more people in Big Media and the blogosphere asking him why he is a supporter of Palestinian terrorism against Israel? Either they do not want to embarrass their partisan friend by publicly committing him to a side or they already know the answer: Carter is a paid propagandist of Arab terrorism sponsors.

Here’s how the New York Times reports today’s developments in the case against the miserable anti-Semite Jimmy Carter (emphases mine):

ATLANTA, Jan. 11 — Fourteen of the city’s business and civic leaders resigned from the Carter Center’s advisory board on Thursday to protest former President Jimmy Carter’s recent criticisms of Israel and American Jewish political power.

Their joint letter of resignation denounced Mr. Carter’s best-selling book, “Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid,” for its criticisms of Israel’s treatment of Palestinians. The letter also took issue with comments Mr. Carter has made suggesting that Israel’s supporters in the United States are using their power to stifle debate on the issue.

“It seems you have turned to a world of advocacy, even malicious advocacy,” the letter said. “We can no longer endorse your strident and uncompromising position. This is not the Carter Center or the Jimmy Carter we came to respect and support.”

The 14 who resigned were members of the center’s board of councilors, a group of more than 200 local leaders who act as ambassadors and fund-raisers for the center but do not determine its policy or direct its operations.

Among the letter signers were Michael Coles, the chief executive of the Caribou Coffee Company; William B. Schwartz Jr., the ambassador to the Bahamas during Mr. Carter’s presidency; Liane Levetan, a former chief executive of DeKalb County, Ga.; and S. Stephen Selig III, who served as national finance chairman for the Carter-Mondale Presidential Committee.
