Benazir Bhutto

My very spirit cringes at times like these when I realize how dead and isolationist are the Democrats and so-called “progressives” in this country.

There was a genuine kind of martyrdom met in Rawalpindi yesterday —but how is it anything more than some piece in the grand conspiracy of the Neocon Cabal That Rules All? Will this flawed, but essentially fearless, woman’s sacrifice be recognized and honored by women in the West? Is democracy so banal and mundane to us that its bravest proponents in the Muslim world can be brought down in blood and it is merely to shrug?

Democracy cannot win if its enemies are not first destroyed.

Musharraf needs to kill more bad guys. He needs to pile them to the sky.

A Dhimmi in Eurabia

Friday, December 7th, 2007

Ewen MacAskill of the Guardian Unlimited writes:

But pivotal to the US investigation into Iran’s suspect nuclear weapons programme was the work of a little-known intelligence specialist, Thomas Fingar. He was the principal author of an intelligence report published on Monday that concluded Iran, contrary to previous US claims, had halted its covert programme four years ago and had not restarted it. Almost single-handedly he has stopped - or, at the very least, postponed - any US military action against Iran.

His report marks a decisive moment in the battle between American neoconservatives and Washington’s foreign policy and intelligence professionals - between ideologues and pragmatists. It provided an unexpected victory for those opposed to the neocon plans for a military strike.

The report, the National Intelligence Estimate (NIE), which represents the consensus of the 16 US intelligence agencies, gave President George Bush one of his most difficult weeks since taking office in January 2001.

Fingar’s findings were met in many Washington offices occupied by foreign policy and intelligence professionals not only with relief but with rejoicing. They had lost out in the run-up to the war in Iraq in 2003, but they are winning this one.

Well…one can plainly see the importance that Iran’s sympathizers and apologists have invested this NIE with. The degenerate pacifists of Eurabia are determined to sell out their own civilization to keep the peace with Islamist psychopaths. Disgusting.

A couple of days ago, an Iranian ”supervision bureau” executed a 21 year-old gay man for sex-related crimes he supposedly committed several years before.

Government-ordered executions of homosexuals is one of those things one might suppose would anger the “progressive” West, but no. It’s more important to undermine Bush in his fight against the mullahcracy.

Iran, A.D. 2003

Monday, December 3rd, 2007

The Leftists in Big Media are calling the latest NIE report a refutation of the Bush Administration’s warnings that Iran is seeking nuclear weapons.

It’s great to know that the anti-Bush Left have recovered their confidence in our government’s intelligence agencies —although I can’t recall when it was they had any before we invaded Iraq and overthrew Saddam. Anybody know? After all, one of the few standard deviations of the Leftist (or, schizophrenic) mind is its preoccupation with the CIA and the NSA and whatever else now falls under the DNI. They can’t be too sure now that the “intelligence community” knows what it’s talking about if it didn’t before, can they?

Did Iran, in fact, suspend its nuclear weapons program in 2003? If it did, why did it? Iran had been seeking the bomb for many years up to that point —only to stop cold? What could be the reason?

My guess would be the very near presence of the United States military —the single greatest guarantor of human freedom of the past century.

Moral Insanity

Saturday, December 1st, 2007

The ongoing incarceration of a British schoolteacher in the Sudan for the great crime of permitting her young pupils to name a teddy bear Mohammed is the most disgusting act of moral insanity I have heard of in weeks.

Gordon Brown should advise those filthy floor-kissers that they either put that woman on a plane back home in the next half-hour or he will make their country’s life miserable for years to come.

This is the kind of stuff within Islam that we must act to destroy: this childish and even monstrous ignorance of how the modern world works. Your degraded and superstitious beliefs are destined to die, submitters. That schoolteacher did nothing wrong and you have done nothing right. The judgement will be harsh and it will go against you in the end.

Liveblogging the People’s Debate (Part Eight)

Good. This is the part where the party instructs the American People on the fact that we are succeeding in Iraq.

The hippie cocksuckers will find out later.

Dumbass in the House

Thursday, November 15th, 2007

I’m watching Silvestre Reyes —who now represents my birthplace— standing on the floor of the House supporting the latest Democratic attempt to undermine the war powers vested in the Commander in Chief by the Constitution of the United States.

This man is a dumbass who doesn’t know enough to chair a subcommittee on tumbleweed —and yet he is somehow the Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.

The FISA is a joke and ought to be declared unConstitutional. It is nothing more than a legal relic of the Democrats’ anti-Nixonism and a harmful hindrance to the successful prosecution of the war against Islamofascism.

Insisting upon the legitimacy and even the value of FISA plainly marks its advocates as sympathizers to the Mohammedan Menace.

Barack Obama, whose middle name is Hussein, is telegraphing all his moves on Iran (emphases mine):

In an hourlong interview on Wednesday, Mr. Obama made clear that forging a new relationship with Iran would be a major element of what he pledged would be a broad effort to stabilize Iraq as he executed a speedy timetable for the withdrawal of American combat troops.

Mr. Obama said that Iran had been “acting irresponsibly” by supporting Shiite militant groups in Iraq. He also emphasized that Iran’s suspected nuclear weapons program and its support for “terrorist activities” were serious concerns.

It’s ridiculous to call Iran’s actions “irresponsible.” On the contrary, Iran’s actions have been entirely responsible. Don’t get it yet, Barry? Iran is the puppetmaster and Hizballah and that miserable American-killer Muqtada al-Sadr are its proxies. Not just against our men and women and friends in Iraq, but against the perfidious Jews of the Zionist Entity. Iran is acting deliberately to undermine all the countries it sees as a threat. Do you really think you exert the gravity to bring the Dinnerjacket around to your views? The very thought of it is risible. When it isn’t alarming:

But he asserted that Iran’s support for militant groups in Iraq reflected its anxiety over the Bush administration’s policies in the region, including talk of a possible American military strike on Iranian nuclear installations.

What a flaccid apologist for the mullahcracy! He’s giving Iran the Bill Clinton-style empathy treatment: he understands why they’re worried about us. Because we’re the problem.

Disgusting.

Obama’s far too immature for the job of the Presidency. But the contortions his candidacy is putting the anti-war Left through are certainly entertaining. They want to love him because they know that Hillary actually gets the War on Islamofascism. But they don’t want to draw this white-guilt fantasy campaign out so far as to damage Hillary since they understand she’s got it in the bag.

I knew the charade would have to end eventually, but these clowns are taking too long to get to the good part.

For Folding Swords

Wednesday, October 31st, 2007

I was watching Representative Lynn Woolsey (D-CA) on C-SPAN just then and it seems to me that her anti-war and anti-Bush rhetoric is the epitome of weakness. She’s worried about us repeating the pattern of Viet Nam/Cambodia in Iraq/Iran. She says our leadership is reckless and that we have no exit strategy and blah, blah, blah.

Islama mutanda est.

The objections of the Left to the necessity of transforming the culture of jihad into loyal customers of America, Inc. are light and puny. The hippies bore me because they have no reason to object.

Decay by Design

Monday, October 22nd, 2007

I dunno. What do you think? You think the new audio from Osama is legit? It’s such a self-pitying performance that I can’t see how it would be inspirational to any of the wretched religious psychopaths still infesting Iraq. So that militates against it actually being his voice. But maybe Osama doesn’t realize how pathetic those recordings and alleged video make him sound. Maybe he doesn’t have any choice now but to sound so whipped.

If the next twelve months bring more and better news of a successful Iraq, as I expect it will, it will be an absolute validation of George W. Bush’s policies there and an equally damning dismissal of the anti-war liberal Left as little more than incompetent sympathizers to Islamofascism. And that will be just in time for the Election of 2008.

What’s the Dhimmicratic Party’s rhetoric going to sound like then? Like Osama’s? It wouldn’t surprise me; they both have a lot to gain by seeing America fail in Iraq.

The Asia Times Online is reporting that

An all-out battle for control of Pakistan’s restive North and South Waziristan is about to commence between the Pakistani military and the Taliban and al-Qaeda adherents who have made these tribal areas their own.

According to a top Pakistani security official who spoke to Asia Times Online on condition of anonymity, the goal this time is to pacify the Waziristans once and for all. All previous military operations - usually spurred by intelligence provided by the Western coalition - have had limited objectives, aimed at specific bases or sanctuaries or blocking the cross-border movement of guerrillas. Now the military is going for broke to break the back of the Taliban and a-Qaeda in Pakistan and reclaim the entire area.

I don’t know if this represents a fantastic opportunity to make a final breakthrough against the Taliban types in Afghanistan or if it means disaster.

A qualified estimate by intelligence officials is that Pakistani military pacification of the Waziristans would slash the capability of the Afghan resistance by 85% as well as deliver a serious setback to the Iraqi resistance.

The militants have little option but to stand and fight, rather than slip across the border or melt into the local population. Aside from the sanctuary and succor afforded them in the Waziristans, most of the fighters there are either Waziris, or from other parts of Pakistan, or foreigners. They would be unable to support themselves in Afghanistan, especially as most of the non-Waziris do not speak Pashtu - a fact that also prevents them from disappearing into the Waziristan populace.

Let’s hope for some sound immigration policy for the sake of our fighting men and women in Afghanistan. Stop the floor-kissers at the border and give that region a chance for peace.
