What’s going on with Hillary and the People? She’s planting questions in the crowds with the same shamelessness as Glenn Greenwald sockpuppeting on comment threads about himself. And now Hillary is sending a suit-wrapped fish to Wolf Blitzer ahead of Thursday night’s debate: don’t question me like that craphound Russert did at Drexel.
The Democrats may like that sort of message discipline —and they may like it more and more if they think they’ve got a winner— but I’ll tell you straight up: for every chickenshit swipe taken at Rudy Giuliani as some sort of reincarnated Mussolini, there’s a dozen justifiable criticisms of Hillary as a conniving liar with a totalitarian streak a mile wide.
