Have a look at this report on Ayman al-Zawahiri and what the murderous old sack of shit thinks about the veil:
AL-QAEDA’S deputy leader said yesterday that any Muslim woman who wears the veil in Western countries is a supporter in what he described as a fight between Islam and “Zionist Crusaders”.
Ayman al-Zawahri issued what amounted to an al-Qaeda New Year message to the world in an audio tape posted on the internet , calling on militant groups in Iraq to unite and urging Palestinians not to co-operate with the Palestinian Authority.
The authenticity of the tape could not be verified, but it was posted on websites used by al-Qaeda and other insurgent groups in Iraq and the voice of speaker sounded like Zawahri’s. The statement - said to have been issued by al-Qaeda’s “media arm” al-Sahab - praised Muslim women who insist on wearing the Islamic veil despite pressures not to in some Western lands.
He described anyone doing that as “a soldier in the battle of Islam against the Zionist- Crusader attack”.
There it is —straight from the horse’s ass: the veil is not just a symbol of modesty or even an instrument of patriarchal repression and the subjugation of women; it is, at last, a weapon of Islamist resistance in the Western world.
I think I’ll keep this in mind the next time I’m at the drive-thru at McDonald’s behind a woman in a full-face veil who’s driving an SUV. I’ll think to myself, “This woman is a terrorist. Her purpose in life is to make more terrorists. So says Dr. Zawahiri himself. But do I really need the large fries? Oh, what the hell? If it’s not the cholesterol, it’s the soldiers in the fight against the Crusaders and Zionists who’ll be the death of me yet!”
