The International Face of the Democratic Party
This is Ramsey Clark in the court today where Saddam Hussein was sentenced to death for his crimes against humanity.
The Kurdish judge in charge of the trial kicked his ass out of the court for making a mockery of the proceedings. Told him in English to get out.
Do you know who this man is, though?
Clark was the Attorney General of the United States under Democratic President Lyndon Johnson. And now he spends his life defending any mass murderer or dictator anywhere so long as that mass murderer or dictator shares his hatred of the United States. Clark is an embarrassment on a par with other Democrats like Jimmy Carter and John Kerry.
But that’s what the Democratic Party stands for on the international scene: self-loathing and second-guessing. Unfortunately, this party is on the verge of regaining power in the Congress.
I hope the spectacle of that triumph will serve to more fully expose them as the suspect sort they are.
