You know, if these Muslim fundamentalists marching in the streets today were confident in the truth and value of their religion, they wouldn’t need to threaten the Pope with crucifixion.
They’re out there with their nicely-printed English-language placards, pouring out of the mosques on a Friday evening, and baying like the feral shitheads they are. Oh, it’s dissent, alright —and that’s really what we Westerners stand for: lots and lots of dissent. It’s the engine of democracy, you know! That’s why we’re so happy that these retarded assholes have finally found their voice.
However, the only way that we are going to avoid the devastation of endless war against Islam is for the so-called forces for peace and diplomacy within Western society to acknowledge and honestly engage each other. That means that our own retarded assholes (i.e., anti-Bush haters among the Left and the liberal establishment) are going to have to start standing up and pledging their solidarity with the democrats and moderates in the Muslim Middle East. Because they are the majority of the people in these Muslim countries, right? So, if you, as a “progressive” advocate for human and civil rights, really don’t want to see perpetual war, then stand up and say, “I think the President was wrong to invade Iraq, but I believe in the success of democracy there and strengthening that should matter more than my partisan hatred.”
Unfortunately, though, the anti-American Left —as distinct from liberals or “progressives”— share an even deeper hatred with our Islamofascist enemies: they both want to see the destruction of Judaism and Christianity. Moreover, they are both monotheistic: Muslims have their God in Allah and the Left have theirs in self-loathing anti-Americanism, fetishized in a code of multiculturalism and moral relativism.
After they’re done using each other, guess which one will eat its former friend.
