Playing Poker with Another Man’s Chips
Last Thursday, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had this to say:
“If the Zionist regime commits another stupid move and attacks Syria, this will be considered like attacking the whole Islamic world and this regime will receive a very fierce response,” Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying in a telephone conversation with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
Sounds to me like Ahmadinejad knows full well that an attack on Damascus is a strong possibility.
Thus, if we and the Israelis make it clear to The Chinless Ophthalmologist that he is going to die for Iran’s insanity if he doesn’t help pull Hizballah back from southern Lebanon, he may try to negotiate his way out of the jam he’s in.
Time to deal, baby. Ahmadinejad’s got no way of helping you. And, if he tries it at the expense of the American military, he will be the last of the Mohicans, by God!
