Todos Los Niños
It’s amazing how many of my friends are making babies: Libby, Noah, Ava, Edward, Louis, and maybe even a Ruby. Another little girl is on the way, but her mom and dad haven’t settled on a name yet. It’ll probably be something Italianate, though.
I am very happy for them all. And I am honored that they would think to include me in all of these life celebrations, as they did tonight.
Naturally, I would love to have a niece or a nephew of my own, but we’re not there just yet.
Oh, well. Keep ‘em comin’!
(And thank goodness that they’re all beautiful babies, too, because I would hate to have to pretend they’re not ugly.)
